Types of Treatment
Medications

Medications can help alleviate your symptoms, decrease your level of distress, and increase your level of functioning. However, while some people can be satisfied with medication treatment alone, most will return in search of deeper and more meaningful changes in different areas of their life, particularly in interpersonal relationships. In order to achieve long-lasting change in your life, therapy comes in handy.

Integrative Therapy

There are many different types of therapy offered by different professionals. I believe that therapy is a process of collaboration between you and your therapist, to help empower you and deepen your understanding of yourself. Now, while there are many different therapy modalities out there and most practitioners use one specific therapy type approach, my training in many modalities helps me use an integrative therapy approach to help my patients to use me as one stop to achieving better results.
The research has shown psychodynamic psychotherapy, which includes interpersonal and relational therapies, have shown a best outcome in terms of lasting changes. Psychodynamic therapy focuses on recognizing, acknowledging, understanding, and processing complex and at times difficult feelings in order to improve the patient's interpersonal experiences and relationships.
Moreover, combination of medications and psychotherapy has been consistently shown to be superior to medication or psychotherapy alone.
